Today, in a former horse stable, we're mixing film soundtracks in 5.1 surround, editing Emmy award-winning documentaries, recording CD projects and producing DVDs and video content for broadcast, tradeshows and web distribution.

Video Production

Video Post

Getting the right shots are only half the battle. Using them to tell a compelling story, whether it's 30 seconds or 90 minutes, takes talent and skill; talent to know when something works, and skill to know when and why it doesn't. Whether it's a historic documentary, corporate communications or a concert DVD we have the creative and the technical tools to develop your project to its fullest.

Sound Design and Audio Post

A respected director once said "viewers will forgive bad picture before they'll forgive bad sound". With over a terabyte of sound effects, ADR and Foley capabilities, and an ITU-compliant 5.1 mix room, bad sound isn't even an option. We produce custom music and scores for television and radio spots, sweeten film projects, and provide high impact audio mixes that jump out of your speakers.

Music

Our recording studio is unlike any other in northern New England. Built from the outside in to sound good and feel good, it's a womb for musical creativity. All the rooms "float" on a custom manufactured grid of isolators which de-couple each room from adjoining rooms as well as the outside world. It's soundproof. Three isolation booths add critical separation when necessary from the racket going on in the 700 sq. ft main studio. We have a great 5 piece DW drum kit, and a well maintained, beautiful sounding Yamaha C7 concert grand Piano (which toured the US repeatedly with its previous owners - the band Phish). We also have a refurbished Hammond B3 organ and Leslie 122, as well as a plethora of guitars and amps - see the gear list!

Pro Tools HD3, custom Dynaudioacoustics surround monitoring system, killer outboard gear and mic locker, big warm automated D&R analog console, independent headphone mixes for each musicianÉ plus a lounge to hang out while overdubs are being done.

We've done a 21 piece salsa band, innumerable rock, traditional, and jazz acts and enough singer/songwriters to book a coffee house for months.
